Feelings are integral to the human experience, serving as a foundational aspect of life's myriad events. Our emotional development is shaped significantly through interaction, first with primary caregivers and then gradually expanding to others throughout our lives. This journey from infancy to adulthood represents a continuous evolution of understanding and experience.

Recognizing and understanding feelings is a crucial element in our emotional landscape. For many individuals, this ability develops instinctively over time through social interactions. However, for some, this recognition can present challenges that necessitate targeted interventions and consistent practice.

The game 'Our Feelings' aims to address these challenges by serving as a valuable resource for enhancing social-emotional learning. Comprising 108 detailed scenes that illustrate common social-emotional situations, the game facilitates the child's ability to identify emotions and learn suitable behavioral responses. This process promotes gradual cognitive training within the complex realm of feelings and emotions.

As emphasized, emotional growth occurs through interpersonal interactions, and 'Our Feelings' benefits from being played alongside a caregiver, teacher, or therapist. The scenes provided act as catalysts for meaningful discussions and learning experiences.

The game features a tracking screen that monitors the child's responses, aiding in the identification of future developmental goals.

Designed for children aged three and older, 'Our Feelings' is particularly beneficial for those requiring specialized assistance in communication and social-emotional learning.

How to Play:
The game consists of 108 scenarios representing nine fundamental emotions: happiness, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, disgust, love, excitement, and shyness. These scenarios can be displayed randomly or selected by choice in the settings menu.

Each scenario includes four guiding questions:

 <li>What do you see in the picture?</li>
 <li>What do you think he/she feels?</li>
 <li>What does the scene make you feel?</li>
 <li>What do you think can be done?</li>
</ul>
Three of these questions require responses from the child, which are represented as emotional icons at the bottom of the screen for selection and placement within the scene. The child selects one dominant emotion per scenario; naturally, multiple appropriate answers may exist.

The child's selections are continuously summarized, allowing adults to monitor progress and analyze responses effectively. The tracking screen can also be reset at any time to accommodate ongoing developmental needs.
